This skid plate protects the driveshaft u-joints, cast iron differential centre section and lower portion of the thin sheet metal differential cover in the Mercedes AWD Sprinter. It also protects the transfer case and bottom of the engine with all vitals fully covered. Constructed from 5mm alloy plate and powder coated to provide a strong, smooth surface to slide over obstacles on the trail. The protection system bolts on in minutes with simple hand tools. Gear oil changes can still easily be performed without plate removal. Ventilation has been strategically engineered to ensure all equipment is fully vented and cooled.
